We are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join a specialist high-end fit-out and refurbishment contractor working on quality office projects across London. The company delivers commercial refurbishment and fit-out schemes for office clients, with a strong focus on quality, detail, programme, and client satisfaction. They are now looking for a commercially minded QS who can help manage project costs, protect margins, and support the continued growth of the business.

The Role

  • Involved in the commercial management of office fit-out and refurbishment projects from start to finish.
  • Preparing and managing project budgets.
  • Pricing variations and change orders.
  • Measuring works and preparing valuations.
  • Managing subcontractor packages.
  • Reviewing costs, margins, and project profitability.
  • Preparing applications for payment.
  • Agreeing final accounts.
  • Working closely with project managers, site teams, and directors.
  • Helping ensure projects are delivered profitably and commercially controlled.

The Candidate

We are looking for someone with experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction, ideally with exposure to:

  • Commercial fit-out.
  • Office refurbishment.
  • Interiors.
  • Main contracting or specialist subcontracting.

You should be commercially aware, organised, confident with numbers, and able to communicate well with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. This role would suit a QS who wants to work on high-quality London office projects and become an important part of a growing specialist contractor.
