Salary: £30,000 – £45,000

Location: West London / Middlesex area

The position would suit someone who has already gained experience in project coordination, contract administration, site coordination or junior project management and is now looking for a long-term career move with a stable and growing business.

The Role

Working closely with the Contracts Manager and wider operations team, you will help coordinate the delivery of installation and maintenance projects, ensuring works are planned, organised and completed professionally. Duties will include:

  • Supporting the Contracts Manager with day-to-day project delivery
  • Assisting with contract administration and project coordination
  • Organising labour, plant, materials and subcontract support
  • Carrying out site visits and basic surveys when required
  • Helping with programme planning and project scheduling
  • Coordinating installation and maintenance works on public-realm assets
  • Maintaining accurate records, project data and site information
  • Preparing and managing project paperwork, permits, notices and related documentation
  • Liaising with clients, internal departments, site teams and subcontractors
  • Assisting with planning applications and associated project requirements where needed
  • Monitoring progress and reporting updates to senior management
  • Supporting health, safety, quality and environmental procedures
  • Using Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PDF documents and project planning tools
  • Undertaking training and development as required

The Candidate

We are looking for someone who is organised, professional and keen to progress within construction project delivery. You should ideally have:

  • Experience in a junior project management, project coordination or contracts administration role
  • Background within construction, civils, highways, streetworks, public realm, infrastructure or a related sector
  • Good communication skills by phone, email and face to face
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work with site teams, office staff, clients and subcontractors
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • A practical and technical mindset
  • Understanding of health and safety requirements
  • Knowledge of CDM 2015 would be useful
  • NRSWA knowledge would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
  • A construction, engineering or technical qualification would be beneficial
  • Full UK driving licence
