Our client, a well-established construction company based in Dartford, Kent, is looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. Due to a very full order book and continued growth, they are open to considering candidates from trainee level through to experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors. The Role
The successful candidate will support or manage the commercial delivery of construction projects, depending on experience. You will be involved in cost control, valuations, subcontractor management, procurement, variations, and final accounts. This role would suit someone who is commercially minded, organised, and keen to progress within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with or manage the commercial aspects of construction projects
- Prepare and review valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Support procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and financial performance
- Work closely with contracts managers, site teams, and clients
- Assist with tendering and pricing where required
- Ensure accurate reporting and commercial documentation
- Build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
