We are recruiting for an experienced Construction Estimator to join a well-established contractor based in Oldham. The company delivers a wide range of new-build and restoration projects for both public and private-sector clients. Projects cover a variety of sectors, including residential, extra care, education and commercial developments. The Role
As Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive tenders for a varied portfolio of projects. Your duties will include:
- Reviewing tender documents, drawings and specifications
- Preparing detailed cost estimates for new-build and restoration projects
- Obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Producing bills of quantities and tender submissions
- Identifying project risks, opportunities and potential cost savings
- Liaising with clients, architects, consultants and internal project teams
- Attending pre-tender and post-tender meetings
- Maintaining accurate records of tenders and project costs
- Supporting the commercial and operational teams during project handover
