We are currently seeking 1 x Advanced Scaffolder for long-term work on a Gas & Oil Terminal. A full squad consisting of 2 x Part 2 Scaffolders and 1 x Part 1/Labourer would be considered.
Job Details:
- Rate: £250.00 per day
- Location: Gas & Oil Terminal
- Shift Pattern: 10 days on / 4 days off
Requirements:
- Valid CISRS Card (Advanced Scaffolder)
- Shear Gas Certification (Mandatory – if not held, it can be completed online but must be self-funded)
- Previous experience working on high-risk Gas/Oil sites preferred
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations
Daily Duties & Responsibilities:
- Erecting, adapting, and dismantling scaffolding in line with safety standards
- Ensuring compliance with Gas & Oil Terminal safety protocols
- Conducting regular scaffold inspections and hazard assessments
- Collaborating with other trades to ensure safe access and working platforms
- Working in high-risk environments, adhering to strict safety procedures
- Using Shear Gas-certified practices for safe scaffold assembly/disassembly
- Following site permits and working within controlled zones
- Supporting and mentoring Part 2 Scaffolders and Labourers as needed
- Ensuring all scaffolding is tagged correctly and in compliance with regulations
