Workforce International UK is expanding and we’re looking for a commercially driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to win and grow industrial, logistics and manufacturing temporary staffing accounts across Glasgow.
This role combines new business development with account management and growth, and is ideal for someone who enjoys opening doors, building relationships and developing accounts into consistent, profitable volume. You focus on winning and developing clients — with strong delivery support behind you.
The Role
- Winning new temporary staffing clients across industrial, logistics and manufacturing
- Managing and developing your portfolio of live accounts (volume, margin and retention)
- Building relationships with hiring managers, site leads and operations teams
- Identifying multi-site opportunities and expanding accounts across departments
- Negotiating rates and ensuring profitable, long-term partnerships
- Working closely with delivery teams to ensure a high-quality service
- Developing accounts into repeat business and long-term client relationships
There is also clear opportunity to expand into engineering and construction clients as the desk grows.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in recruitment / temp staffing (agency background preferred)
- Proven track record in new business development
- Confidence selling into industrial, logistics, warehousing or manufacturing
- Strong client relationship skills and ability to grow accounts
- Commercial awareness around rates, margins and profitability
- Motivated by performance, commission and progression
Salary & Commission
- Base salary: £30,000–£35,000 (depending on experience)
- Uncapped commission
- Realistic OTE: £50,000–£70,000+ (top performers may exceed this)
