We are seeking a talented and ambitious Senior Accountant to join a growing accountancy firm in Warwickshire. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, including medium-sized companies and consolidated groups, while developing your career within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.
The Role
- Prepare and review statutory accounts for a range of clients.
- Prepare medium-sized company accounts and consolidated group accounts.
- Review and supervise the work of junior team members, providing guidance and support.
- Advise clients on Corporation Tax, Personal Tax, and related compliance matters.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser.
- Assist clients with accounting software systems and cloud accounting solutions.
- Present financial information and recommendations clearly and confidently.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and add value to client businesses.
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and in line with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
About You
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment.
- Experience reviewing and supervising the work of others.
- Strong experience preparing medium-sized company accounts and consolidated group accounts.
- Solid understanding of Corporation Tax, Personal Tax, and other key tax matters.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational abilities.
