ACCOUNTS / FINANCE ASSISTANT Location: EN5, Barnet / Enfield area Salary: Circa £28,000–£30,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Working Pattern: Office-based Start: Immediate preferred, although up to 4 weeks' notice will be considered for the right candidate Sector: Construction / Subcontracting THE OPPORTUNITY Our client is a rapidly expanding and successful subcontractor looking to recruit an ambitious Accounts / Finance Assistant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their finance career within a fast-paced and entrepreneurial business. The company is growing quickly and is keen to appoint someone who is enthusiastic, adaptable and willing to learn. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day finance function and work closely with the wider team, gaining valuable exposure across a broad range of accounting and administrative duties. Previous experience within construction or property would be beneficial, although it is not essential. Knowledge of Xero and experience using Mac systems would also be advantageous. More importantly, we are looking for someone with the right attitude, strong attention to detail and a genuine desire to learn quickly, take on responsibility and grow with the business. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Supporting the day-to-day running of the finance and accounts function. Processing purchase and sales invoices. Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
