We are a recruitment agency working with a growing property investment and development company specialising in residential refurbishment and multi-unit conversions. They are seeking a proactive Site Manager to support the delivery of projects from start through to completion.

Working closely with the Project Manager and Head Office teams, you will play a key role in coordinating trades, maintaining standards and ensuring projects remain on programme.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day site operations
  • Assist with programme coordination and sequencing
  • Help manage subcontractors and direct labour
  • Monitor quality of works on site
  • Ensure compliance with drawings and specifications
  • Maintain health and safety standards
  • Keep site organised, safe and tidy
  • Coordinate trades to minimise clashes
  • Attend and assist with site meetings
  • Capture and upload photo and video progress records
  • Maintain accurate site documentation
  • Support Building Control inspections
  • Assist with snagging and defect management
  • Flag delays, risks or design issues promptly
  • Help monitor variations and site instructions
  • Communicate progress updates to the Site Manager
  • Ensure works are properly authorised
  • Support smooth project handovers
  • Assist during the initial aftercare period
  • Follow structured company processes and reporting systems

Requirements:

  • Experience in a Site Management or assistant site management role
  • Background in residential refurbishment projects
  • Good understanding of construction sequencing
  • Confident coordinating multiple trades
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear communicator with a proactive attitude
  • SSSTS (preferred)
  • Valid CSCS card
