We are currently recruiting Hostess and Catering Staff to work across our NHS sites based in South London. This is a great opportunity for reliable, professional and caring individuals who enjoy working in a healthcare environment and are committed to delivering high standards of food service and patient care.
Key ResponsibilitiesDuties will include:
- Serving meals, drinks and refreshments to patients, staff and visitors
- Assisting with meal preparation, plating and food service
- Taking patient meal orders where required
- Ensuring dietary requirements are followed correctly
- Maintaining clean, safe and hygienic catering and ward areas
- Delivering and collecting meal trays
- Providing a friendly and professional service at all times
- Following NHS site policies, food safety procedures, infection control and health and safety guidelines
Candidates must have:
- Enhanced DBS clearance or be willing to complete one
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
- Previous experience in catering, hospitality, ward hosting, food service or customer service is desirable
- Good communication skills
- A professional, caring and respectful approach
- Reliability, punctuality and flexibility
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Right to work in the UK
- Competitive hourly rate of £14.00–£15.00 per hour
