PROJECT MANAGER – CONSTRUCTION Location: Bromley, Kent Salary: £55,000–£65,000 per annum, depending on experience Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Working Pattern: Office-based with regular site visits Start: Immediate We are recruiting an experienced and driven Construction Project Manager to join a growing property and construction business based in Bromley, Kent. This is a key role within the business, overseeing multiple construction projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover. The successful candidate will take ownership of programme delivery, contractor coordination, stakeholder communication and site management performance, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard. You will also act as the direct line manager for Site Managers, providing leadership, guidance and accountability across active projects. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Oversee construction projects from planning through to practical completion and handover * Line manage Site Managers, including weekly one-to-ones, performance reviews and ongoing support * Monitor project programmes, milestones and completion dates * Maintain and update six-week trackers and ensure teams work to agreed targets * Coordinate contractors, labour and site resources across active projects * Provide site cover where required to maintain continuity * Lead pre-construction meetings and ensure surveys, budgets and project details are reviewed before works begin * Act as the main point of contact for client handovers, project changes and site-related communication * Coordinate snagging, Building Control inspections and certification * Work closely with Quality Control teams to approve key stages of construction * Ensure project records, QC certificates and progress updates are maintained accurately * Monitor budgets, highlight variances and support pricing adjustments where required * Liaise with architects regarding client specifications, design development and changes * Manage stakeholder meetings and provide regular project updates THE IDEAL CANDIDATE * Proven experience as a Project Manager within construction, refurbishment or property development * Strong knowledge of project programming, site delivery and contractor management * Experience managing Site Managers and multiple live projects * Strong leadership and communication skills * Commercial awareness with the ability to monitor budgets and variations * Confident dealing with clients, architects, contractors and senior stakeholders * Highly organised with strong attention to detail * Comfortable working in a fast-paced and growing business * Able to take ownership, make decisions and drive projects forward * Experience using project management systems such as Asana would be beneficial WHAT’S ON OFFER * Salary of £55,000–£65,000 per annum, depending on experience * Permanent, full-time position * Immediate start available * Office-based role in Bromley with regular site visits.
