Junior Finance & Accounts Assistant Location: Coulsdon Salary: Circa £29,000 Job Type: 9–12 Month Fixed-Term Contract (Potential to Become Permanent) Sector: Finance We are recruiting for a Junior Finance & Accounts Assistant to join a well-established finance company based in Coulsdon. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 12 months of commercial finance or accounts experience who is looking to further develop their career within a supportive and professional environment. The role will primarily focus on Accounts Payable duties, while also supporting with credit control and general finance administration where required. Key Responsibilities * Processing supplier invoices and payments * Managing Accounts Payable activities accurately and efficiently * Reconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice queries * Assisting with payment runs and finance administration * Supporting credit control and chasing outstanding payments when required * Maintaining accurate financial records and spreadsheets * Assisting the wider finance team with general administrative duties * Supporting month-end finance processes where required Requirements * Minimum 12 months of commercial experience within a finance or accounts role * Some experience using Sage is highly desirable * Good IT skills, including Excel * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Organised and able to manage workload effectively * Professional communication skills and a proactive attitude Desirable * Accounts Payable experience * Exposure to credit control responsibilities * Experience within a busy office or finance environment This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior finance professional looking to gain valuable experience within a growing business, with the possibility of the role becoming permanent following the initial contract period
