We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to join a growing M&E Projects team delivering works across Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Mechanical Site Manager with a strong mechanical background to oversee day-to-day site operations across multiple projects within live environments.

The successful Mechanical Site Manager will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors, supervising site teams, ensuring health & safety compliance, and delivering works to programme and quality standards. This role is ideal for a motivated Mechanical Site Manager looking to progress within a fast-paced Building Services and M&E environment.

Key Responsibilities – Mechanical Site Manager

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Act as the primary site-based point of contact for clients, technicians, and subcontractors
  • Coordinate and provide site access for technicians and subcontractors
  • Lead and supervise site teams to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure workmanship meets required standards
  • Monitor attendance and maintain accurate site records
  • Ensure project activities are progressing in line with programme requirements
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organised working environments across all sites
  • Report site progress, issues, and updates to senior management
  • Support site mobilisation, setup, and project close-out activities
  • Ensure all works are delivered in line with health & safety policies and procedures
  • Promote a positive and professional site culture

Skills & Experience Required – Mechanical Site Manager

  • Previous experience within construction, Building Services, M&E, or engineering environments
  • Strong mechanical background gained either on the tools or within a supervisory role
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing day-to-day site operations
  • Good understanding of health & safety requirements within construction environments
  • Good IT skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and work under pressure
  • Proactive and solution-focused approach
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

Qualifications

  • SMSTS (training can be provided if required)
  • Asbestos Awareness
  • First Aid qualification

Planning & Organising: Ability to effectively plan, organise, and manage resources to ensure successful delivery of works in line with operational requirements and business objectives.
