Workflow Recruitment are looking for experienced Electrician Domestic Rewire Electricians for a long-term domestic electrical rewire programme in Bristol.
This is a 5-year programme of works covering occupied and unoccupied domestic properties.
The role is suited to established domestic rewire teams who can manage full property rewires from start to finish, including removal of existing circuits, installation, second fix, testing, certification, evidence capture, and handover.
As an Electrician, you will need to work cleanly, safely, and professionally in residents’ homes while maintaining high standards of compliance, customer care, and job completion records.
About The Role
You will be completing full domestic rewires across properties in Bristol, working from survey information and job instructions provided through a mobile app.
Works may include lighting, power, bonding, consumer unit replacement, alarms and detection, kitchen circuits, shower circuits where required, and associated making good.
Properties will vary in layout and specification, so teams must be confident adapting to each job while still delivering consistent, compliant work.
This Electrician opportunity is paid on a price-per-property basis and offers reliable, long-term work across a major programme.
- What You’ll Do
- Complete full domestic rewires in occupied and unoccupied properties.
- Remove and replace existing circuits in line with surveys, specifications, and current regulations.
- Carry out first fix, second fix, changeover, testing, certification, and handover.
- Complete consumer unit replacements and associated bonding works.
- Install lighting, socket outlets, cooker circuits, appliance spurs, alarms/detection, and other specified items.
- Install surface-mounted PVC trunking where required, using floorboard voids and loft spaces where possible.
- Protect residents’ homes using dust sheets, screening, and careful working practices.
- Temporarily move and reinstate items such as appliances, floor coverings, curtains, and fittings where required.
- Keep properties, access routes, communal areas, and workspaces clean, safe, and free from obstruction.
- Remove rubbish and debris throughout the job and at the end of each working day.
- Use the mobile app to receive jobs, complete job information, upload evidence photos, and support accurate invoicing.
- Communicate professionally with residents and explain works clearly where needed.
- What We’re Looking For
- Experienced domestic rewire teams with a strong background in full property rewires.
- Qualified electricians able to complete installation, testing, and certification.
- Good understanding of current wiring regulations and domestic electrical standards.
- Experience working safely and respectfully in occupied homes.
- Valid DBS checks for all team members.
- Valid Asbestos Awareness certificates for all operatives.
- At least one team member with an approved non-licensable asbestos works qualification.
- Suitable vehicle capacity to store materials where on-site storage is not available.
- Ability to work from surveys, specifications, and app-based job instructions.
- Strong attention to evidence capture, paperwork, completion records, and photographic uploads.
- Preferred Experience
- Previous experience delivering social housing or domestic rewire programmes.
- Experience working in resident-facing environments.
- Familiarity with app-based job management systems.
- Experience installing interlinked fire detection systems in domestic properties.
- Team And Working Environment
This role is best suited to established Electrician Domestic Rewires teams who can take responsibility for the full rewire process, including materials coordination, property access, resident interaction, daily progress, testing, certification, and final handover.
