About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead and oversee a large-scale domestic rewire programme across the Bristol area. This is a long-term, high-volume social housing contract, offering strong stability and the chance to take ownership of day-to-day site operations across multiple active teams. You will play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a consistently high standard, while maintaining excellent communication with both operatives and residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support 5–6 domestic rewire teams across multiple live sites
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring productivity and programme targets are achieved
- Monitor progress and ensure works are completed on time and within specification
- Carry out regular site visits to ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards are met
- Ensure adherence to current electrical regulations and health & safety requirements
- Maintain strong resident/customer relations, ensuring minimal disruption and high satisfaction
- Report on progress, issues, and performance to senior management
About You
We are looking for a confident and experienced Electrical Supervisor with a strong background in domestic rewires or social housing environments.
Essential Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience in an Electrical Supervisor role
- Strong background in domestic rewires and/or social housing contracts
- Ability to manage multiple teams and workloads effectively
- Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach with attention to detail
- Ability to liaise professionally with residents and site teams
Desirable Certifications:
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 2391 Testing & Inspection (advantageous but not essential)
