Workflow Recruitment are looking for an experienced Roofer to work alongside an electrician installing Solar PV systems in and around the IP19 area. This is a self-employed contract role paying £220-£250 per install. Two installs per day is realistically achievable for a good, experienced Roofer.
About the Role
As the Roofer, you will complete the roofing element of Solar PV installations, working closely with an electrician to ensure each system is installed safely, securely, and to a high standard. The work will be based around IP19, making it ideal for someone local to Halesworth, Suffolk, or the surrounding areas.
What You’ll Do
- Work alongside an electrician on Solar PV installations
- Prepare roofs for Solar PV panel installation
- Install mounting systems, brackets, rails, and roof components
- Complete roof work safely, neatly, and efficiently
- Maintain the integrity of the roof during and after installation
- Work across domestic properties in and around IP19
- Follow all site safety standards and work professionally around occupied homes
What We’re Looking For
- Previous Solar PV installation experience is essential
- Experienced Roofer with strong pitched roof experience
- Comfortable working at height
- CSCS card
- Working at Heights certificate
- Asbestos Awareness certificate
- Manual Handling certificate
- Own tools and transport
- Reliable, self-employed, and available for contract work
Please note: CSCS, Working at Heights, Asbestos Awareness, and Manual Handling are essential, but training can be arranged before the start date where needed.
