A leading property services and heating contractor is seeking an experienced Domestic Heating Installation Supervisor to join their growing team. This role is responsible for supervising the installation of domestic heating and hot water systems while ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with client KPIs and quality standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Gas Safe qualified professional with supervisory experience looking to progress within a well-established organisation delivering services across residential properties.
Gas Supervisor RoleAs a Domestic Heating Installation Gas Supervisor, you will oversee a team of engineers delivering installation works across domestic properties, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Gas Supervisor Key Responsibilities- Supervise a team of Heating Installation Engineers carrying out domestic heating and hot water system installations
- Allocate and issue daily work schedules
- Oversee associated electrical and building works where required
- Prepare equipment packs for daily installation works
- Ensure all job sheets, daily logs, and weekly timesheets are completed accurately
- Book and manage appointments for design surveys and installations
- Conduct quality control inspections and resident satisfaction surveys
- Maintain accurate records and update internal systems and databases
- Ensure all work is completed in line with Health & Safety regulations and safe systems of work
- Liaise with internal teams, clients, and residents to ensure a high level of service delivery
- Monitor performance against KPIs, service levels, and project deadlines
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineers
- Deliver training, supervision, and toolbox talks where required
- Maintain company vehicles and report any faults or maintenance issues
Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Flexibility required as occasional overtime may be necessary.
Gas Supervisor RequirementsQualifications: ACS / Gas Safe Registered CCN1 CPA1 CKR1 HTR1 CENWAT. Additional qualifications highly desirable: Energy Efficiency, Unvented Hot Water, HIU systems, Heat Pumps, Gas Fires, Cylinders, HRU systems.
Experience: Experience supervising or managing heating installation engineers, background in domestic or commercial gas/heating installations, experience conducting risk assessments and site supervision, strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and building control requirements, experience using PDA devices or job management systems.
Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong IT literacy, ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines, analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders and customers.
Other Requirements:Full UK driving licence.
