As a Sessional Tutor, you will provide engaging teaching, learning and assessment with a creative and supportive approach to teaching. Adapting to a range of learning styles and differentiating delivery to learners with mixed abilities, you will develop learners' knowledge and understanding while ensuring the highest possible quality teaching and learning to a group of learners.

- Functional Skills Tutor (Maths and/or English)
- £29.78 per hour
- Based in Durham with travel to various venues in your area
Qualifications & Experience
- Teaching qualification (PCGE, CertEd, DET or equivalent)
- Level 5 specialism (advantageous if you have IQA and Assessor qualifications)
- Experience of design and implementation of innovative learning, schemes of work and lesson plans
- Experience in a range of initial assessment and diagnostic tools
- A thorough understanding of RARPA as well as the EIF and the quality processes that underpin your delivery
- Experience of working with adults in hard-to-reach areas who may face multiple barriers to education
- Strong working knowledge of OFSTED’s Education Inspection Framework
- A strong teamwork ethic and a passion for adult education and making a difference
