Part Time/Sessional opportunities available (60 hours a month, with the possibility of more) at £29.78 per hour.
We’re looking for an experienced CSCS/Construction Tutor to demystify the construction sector, equip learners with the essential knowledge to pass the Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) test, and prepare them for employment. You will be the bridge between unemployment and a sustainable career in construction, building confidence and ensuring learners are “site ready.”
Qualifications:
- CSCS Card Holder: Must hold a valid CSCS card at a minimum of a Skilled Worker level (Blue Card) or above (Gold/Black).
- Industry Experience: Proven vocational experience working within the UK construction industry (e.g., Site Supervisor, Tradesperson, Site Manager).
- Occupational Competence: Up-to-date knowledge of current health and safety legislation and construction site practices.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel to different venues if required.
- Teaching Qualification: A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS, AET, CET, or PGCE) or a willingness to work towards one.
- Understanding of RARPA as well as the EIF and the quality processes that underpin your delivery.
- Experience of working with adults in hard-to-reach areas who may face multiple barriers to education.
- Strong working knowledge of OFSTEDs Education Inspection Framework.
- A strong team work ethic. We like to collaborate and support each other.
