We are looking to recruit staff to join our sessional pool. Our sessional pool is key to delivering our course offer. The number of working hours per day and/or term will depend on the requirements of the business. This is not a full time, permanent role.

Responsibilities

As an Early Years Practitioner sessional tutor, you will be required to teach all qualifications under the umbrella of Early Years including Support Work in Schools L2 Award, Certificate and Diploma and L3 Award, Certificate and Diploma. We are also looking to deliver Health & Social care and counselling accredited pathways.

You will provide engaging teaching, learning and assessment with a creative and supportive approach to teaching. Adapting to a range of learning styles, and ability to differentiate delivery to learners with mixed abilities to develop learners' knowledge and understanding. All whilst ensuring you provide the highest possible quality teaching and learning to a group of learners.

Qualifications
  • Teaching qualification (PCGE, CertEd, DET or equivalent)
  • Must have Assessor qualification, TAQA or equivalent
  • Must have Early years subject specialism at L4 i.e Level 4 Childcare, Learning and development or equivalent
  • Current working practice – evidence of CPD
  • Experience of design and implementation of innovative learning, schemes of work and lesson plans
  • Experience in a range of initial assessment and diagnostic tools
  • Strong working knowledge of OFSTED's Education Inspection Framework
  • A strong team work ethic. We like to collaborate and support each other
