We are building one of the strongest UK Trades & Labour / Labour Supply businesses and are looking for a strong sales person who wants to grow with us from an early stage. This is a client-facing sales role. It is not a 360 recruitment role. You will not be responsible for sourcing workers. We have labour supply and recruitment support in place. Your focus will be speaking with construction clients, handling warm inbound leads, following up enquiries and winning new business. For the right person, this is not just another sales job. There is a real opportunity to grow into a leadership role and help build the UK construction client division.
What you’ll be doing:
- Speaking with construction contractors, subcontractors and site teams
- Handling warm inbound leads from our marketing, email and LinkedIn campaigns
- Following up potential clients by phone, email and LinkedIn
- Building relationships with construction companies across the UK
- Understanding client labour requirements and passing them to our resourcing team
- Discussing availability, rates and basic project requirements
- Preparing simple proposals and helping close new accounts
- Growing repeat business with contractors and site teams
- Helping us build a strong Trades & Labour supply operation in the UK
What we’re looking for:
- A confident sales person with excellent spoken English
- Someone comfortable speaking with contractors, site managers and construction people
- Basic understanding of UK construction, trades, labour roles and site requirements
- Knowledge of CSCS, CPCS, NPORS, SSSTS or similar site cards would be useful
- Experience in construction sales, labour supply, site services, plant hire, scaffolding, civils, demolition, fit-out or construction recruitment would be ideal
- Strong phone manner and confidence with follow-ups
- Organised, reliable and commercially minded
- Resilient, practical and not afraid of rejection
- UK-based and able to work independently
Important: This role is focused on clients, sales and relationships only. No worker sourcing. No candidate chasing. No CV searching. No 360 recruitment. We handle the worker supply side. You focus on winning clients and building long-term relationships.
