WORKERBEE are looking for an experienced SERIES EDITOR for a premium SVOD doc series with talent. We are keen to hear from candidates with strong obs doc and reality credits, and significant experience crafting talent-led series in the edit.
The ideal candidate will be an exceptional storyteller with experience overseeing complex edits, managing edit teams, and shaping narrative arcs across a returning series. This is a hands-on role. Alongside overseeing the edit, you will also be responsible for crafting an episode during production and working closely with the shooting team while filming is ongoing.
Strong communication between location and edit is essential, with the Series Editor helping identify emerging stories, track character arcs, flag pickups, and ensure the right material is being captured on the ground. You must be highly organised editorially, with the ability to manage multiple storylines and large volumes of footage while maintaining clarity, momentum and cohesion across episodes. Strong instincts for character, tone and structure are essential.
The role also requires excellent leadership and team management skills. You will oversee multiple edit teams, ensuring consistency of storytelling, tone and editorial approach across the series, while maintaining strong workflows throughout post production. You will work closely with the Series Director, Location SP and senior production team throughout both production and post.
Dates: Mid July - end of April 2027. NOTE: This role will be based in Manchester.
