We are looking for a Specialist Equipment Centre Operative to support the safe and efficient day‑to‑day running of our Specialist Equipment Centre in Stoke. This hands‑on role involves preparing specialist equipment and customer orders, organising and storing equipment, monitoring stock levels, and assisting with loading and unloading vehicles to ensure projects are delivered on time. You will also maintain a safe, clean, and well‑organised environment and support smooth operations across the site.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, check, clean and store specialist equipment ready for hire and customer projects.
- Assist with assembling specialist equipment, including submersible pump setups and accessories.
- Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles to ensure timely deliveries and collections.
- Carry out equipment checks and report any damage or missing items promptly.
- Maintain accurate stock levels and report low stock to the Supervisor or Manager.
- Keep all work areas clean, safe and organised in line with Health and Safety regulations.
