To help us achieve this we are looking for someone to join our current team and support our workshop electricians and customers. About the Role
We are growing the support to our workshop and depot in our Nottingham branch. We are looking for someone with hands‑on, practical experience to complete post and pre‑hire assessments on our electrical fleet of pumps and control panels, including completion of electrical testing, inspection of pump wear parts and mechanical seals, and completing estimates and repairs for pump and control panels. This role will be based on site in the workshop and would suit someone looking to work in one location as there is no requirement to attend call‑outs.
What We Are Looking For
- ECS Gold Card – Installation or Maintenance Electrician
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or Electrical Maintenance
- AM2 (Achievement measurement 2)
- IEE Wiring Regulations 18th edition
- Demonstrable experience working as an electrician in similar industrial or commercial industry, preferably within a construction/utilities industry
- Strong knowledge and understanding of electrical systems, circuits & electrical / mechanical components
- A methodical approach, with the ability to work through a schedule and ensure all checks are completed on time and to a high standard
- Well organised, able to organise paperwork, ensuring stock is always available and the equipment needed is on site
- Able to work under pressure, with the ability to manage own workload of daily tasks alongside emergency jobs, prioritising where needed
- Willing to go the extra mile for our customers, to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently, balancing the needs of the customer with overall business requirements
- Demonstrable ability to share own knowledge and best practice, to help coach and develop apprentices and newer members of the team
