About The Role
We are looking for an Installation Operative to help achieve our expansion ambitions. If you have experience in civil engineering, construction, or an armed forces background, and are looking for a career with fantastic progression paths, this is the role for you. You will be based out of our Bracknell branch but work predominantly on customer sites including construction, wastewater, and clean water, with occasional visits to the branch.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Promote and exercise the company’s mission statement and core values to deliver a high-quality installation service across the UK.
- Install pipework and assist drivers with loading and unloading of vehicles, checking paperwork, missing items, damages, and fuel charges.
- Perform a physically demanding role that requires a good level of fitness.
- Identify and recommend creative solutions and processes to make the business more unique, attractive, and efficient.
- Put safety first, demonstrate confidence, knowledge, and experience to stop the installation and advise your supervisor if any safety issues arise.
Qualifications & Personal Attributes
- Aptitude to work on client sites in construction, wastewater, and clean water.
- Flexible working hours and availability for an on-call rota, likely 1 in 3 weekends.
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK and occasionally work away from home.
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
Preferred (but Not Essential)
- Holder of a construction skills CSCS card.
- National Water Hygiene Card.
- Confined space training.
- Forklift truck operator certification.
- Understanding of temporary/permanent pumping solutions.
This role requires employees to be willing and able to work at heights, in confined spaces, lone working, and with sewage.
