As a Presales Manager, you will lead and develop a team of passionate and ambitious Solution Consultants to prepare and deliver demonstrations of critical business solutions that empower our sales teams to succeed. Your team will look to you for support and guidance through every step of the sales process. As a key member of the Presales Leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting a winning strategy to best position Workday in net new or add‑on sales cycles. You will hire the best and brightest and help them achieve success in their role and career. Ongoing coaching will be key to the success of the individual and team. This is a first‑line people leader role with opportunity for career growth and personal development of leadership skills.

Lead an extraordinary team passionate about delivering outstanding, differentiated demos. Partner with Sales to help your team evaluate and develop sales strategies for each new opportunity that meet and exceed prospect and customer expectations and requirements. Align across industry‑focused sales teams in the UKI driving the POV, solution messaging and stakeholder management. Lead with AI and ability to infuse it into all aspects of the role. Drive adoption of creative and scalable approaches to selling. Hire and retain top performers; build development plans to ensure successful onboarding and continuing education of the team. Coach the team to elevate individual and team performance. Work with extended team members to ensure opportunity alignment and balance workload of the Solution Consulting team while aligning to the needs of Sales. Keep up with industry trends and methodologies including new technologies at Workday and how these apply in the focus industry and sub‑industry verticals. Provide strategic feedback to stakeholders and extended team about Workday emerging technologies. Establish a strong collaborative partnership between the Presales team and the Sales organization as well as other EMEA teams.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience in people management, performance management, sales and Solution Consulting processes, complex sales management and innovation in selling, building and motivating high performing teams.
  • Experience within the business applications marketplace, preferably ERP, Financials or HCM related. Other SaaS application and AI experience is also applicable.

Additional Qualifications

  • Demonstrable results in leading teams within team‑based sales environments.
  • High level of accountability in a high‑growth environment.
  • Proven as an innovative thinker, self‑starter, fast‑learner and agent of change.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Solution Consulting / sales management experience.
  • Leadership, drive for results and “can do” attitude.
