Your work days are brighter here. We’re obsessed with making hard work pay off, for our people, our customers, and the world around us. As a Fortune 500 company and a leading AI platform for managing people, money, and agents, we’re shaping the future of work so teams can reach their potential and focus on what matters most. Our culture is rooted in integrity, empathy, and shared enthusiasm. We look for curious minds and courageous collaborators who bring sun-drenched optimism and drive.
About the Team: We place great value on career growth, learning and collaboration. Employees are our #1 value! We are an agile organization, constantly looking for ways to improve with a focus on the value we deliver to our customers.
About the Role: We are looking for a passionate and experienced Technical Consultant adept at serving as the primary liaison for technical inquiries, both internally and with our esteemed clients. You'll be pivotal in presenting our technology, devising solutions for client obstacles, and addressing their queries and requirements with assurance and efficiency.
- Act as the professional source for integration through the Project implementation including Pre-sales, Sales & Post-sale for new and existing clients.
- Work with clients and partners to solve technical challenges regarding their unique environment and requirements.
- Lead improvements and enable our sales and engineering process (via tools, processes, and other initiatives), creating documentation, whitepapers, and other supporting material for internal and client usage.
Integration delivery: Design, build, test, and maintain integrations via APIs for cloud-based applications and HR/recruiting systems, with a focus on quality, scalability, and reusability. Handle a wide range of request types and endpoints, maintaining and contributing to a shared library of proven API calls and integration patterns. Own the full integration lifecycle on assigned client engagements — from scoping and design through deployment and post-launch support. Proactively identify and drive improvements to workflow solutions through ongoing research, testing, and validation.
Client engagement & solution design: Act as the primary technical liaison between clients, internal team members, and stakeholders — defining requirements and clarifying project scope and roadmaps. Lead virtual and onsite solution design sessions, translating client needs into clear integration architectures and delivery plans. Build trusted relationships with client technical teams, earning credibility through responsiveness, expertise, and follow-through. Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Team contribution & knowledge sharing: Mentor junior consultants on integration best practices, client communication, and technical problem-solving. Contribute to and maintain the team's repository of technical solutions, design guidelines, and reusable assets. Participate in team knowledge-sharing sessions and help elevate the overall technical bar of the integration practice. Surface recurring patterns or gaps to the Integrations Team Lead and Manager to inform tooling, process, and product improvements.
About You: Basic Qualifications: 6+ years of experience in technical consulting, integration architecture, or project implementation leadership, with a significant portion focused on Workday. Deep, hands-on expertise with Workday integrations, including Workday Studio and Workday Orchestrate. Proven experience architecting and delivering Workday integrations focused on Workday Recruiting. Strong command of Workday's integration ecosystem (Core Connectors, EIBs, web services, PECI/PICOF, and inbound/outbound integration patterns). Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-workstream client implementations end-to-end. Experience mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior and mid-level consultants. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex client business needs and translate them into scalable application and integration designs. Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills, including the ability to lead executive-level conversations.
Other Qualifications: Workday Pro and/or Workday Integrations certifications strongly preferred. Deep understanding of API technologies — REST, SOAP, JSON, XML — and hands-on experience across the full API lifecycle. Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI. Exposure to other enterprise integration platforms (e.g., Dell Boomi, MuleSoft). Industry/product knowledge of the HR Tech industry; broader Talent/HR technology experience. Proven ability to advise senior client stakeholders (Director/VP level), lead discovery. Strong ownership mindset — comfortable handling ambiguity, shifting priorities, and resolving technical and operational issues during implementation. Ability to manage multiple competing priorities across concurrent client engagements without sacrificing quality. Engineering or computer science background preferred. Authorization to work in the United States.
Our Approach to Flexible Work: With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role).
Workday is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals during our application process, in order to perform one or more essential functions of their job.
