About The Team
Adaptive Planning is a new business unit within Workday and is rapidly building its own Marketing organization to operate both independently and collaboratively with the rest of Workday. Our Marketing organisation is a high‑impact, fast‑moving group responsible for shaping how Adaptive shows up in the market – from demand generation and customer engagement to product launches and brand storytelling.
About The Role
As Senior Event Marketing Manager for Adaptive Planning, you’ll own the strategy and execution of high‑impact, executive‑level events across EMEA for the Adaptive Planning Business unit. These will range from intimate C‑suite dinners and hospitality programs to flagship trade shows and Workday‑led conferences. This role sits at the intersection of brand, pipeline, and executive engagement, and is critical to how we show up with senior finance and business leaders across the region.
You’ll be responsible for designing experiences that feel thoughtful, premium, and commercially effective—events that senior executives actually want to attend and that sales and product leaders see as indispensable to revenue growth. You’ll partner closely with regional sales leadership, product marketing, and corporate events teams, while navigating the complexity of a global brand with local nuance.

- Serve as a trusted partner to senior sales leaders, supporting executive meetings, customer engagements, and bespoke hospitality moments.
- Manage budgets, vendors, agencies, and venues with precision—balancing premium experiences with disciplined ROI.
- Own event measurement and reporting, including attendance quality, executive engagement, pipeline influence, and post‑event outcomes.
- Ensure events reflect Workday brand standards while tailoring experiences for local markets and cultural nuance.
