The Workday EMEA Events and Experience Marketing Team plans and executes the Workday pan-EMEA flagship events. Aligning closely with their global and regional colleagues, their mission is to support the organisational objectives and deliver perfection whilst representing Workday.
About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Director, EMEA Events Marketing, the EMEA Event Content Manager will lead the content development life-cycle for regional Workday proprietary events in EMEA. We are looking for a person with strong programme management expertise with the ability to collaborate and influence across a broad set of team members. We need someone who has a keen eye for maintaining a comprehensive and cohesive content strategy, but also able to be responsible for the day-to-day details to deliver outstanding content programmes for events. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential to work across the organisation and with customers.
The role will involve:
- Establishing and delivering process, meetings, and timelines for content development and curation.
- Partnering closely with the Global Curriculum team, product strategy, marketing, communications, customer success, and services to craft a content framework in alignment with the overarching event content strategy and audience demographic that improves attendee learning experience.
- Leading a team of EMEA Track Leads - comprised of Senior Product Marketing Managers.
- Working with Event Technology teams to develop structure for Global Call for Papers sites, Website Session Catalog, and Event Speaker Resource Centers, participating in testing and launch plans.
- Coordinating content logistics and speaker management.
- Maintaining speaker resource center and content management tool.
- Handling content editorial reviews with internal and external resources to ensure timelines are met and all data and messaging is accurate and aligned.
- Establishing a process to coordinate all elements of presentation development, reviews, completion, and delivery.
- Assisting with pre-event attendee marketing and communications, with personalised learning paths to generate program interest, content relevance, and session registration.
- Working with the Digital team on event live stream & demand program management as needed.
- Handling localisation process of US generated content.
- Tracking and running session attendance and making adjustments to content plan and promotion based on interest.
- Preparing post-event content reports and making recommendations on future content programmes based on analysis and insights.
- Maintaining visibility across events in relation to content to identify and report commonalities, issues, or opportunities across program areas.
About You
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 years + proven ability in content management/program management, specifically for large scale, global events.
- Demonstrable ability to work well across all levels of organisation, with high levels of tact and subtlety.
Other Qualifications:
- Resourceful, self-starter who works well as part of a team.
- Excellent program management and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent computer and technology skills (experience with Google Docs, MS Office Applications - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
- Ability to travel.
