As a Data Conversion Consultant you’ll be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of Workday’s Data Conversion processes on customer projects, helping establish and champion best practices for all deployments. You’ll also be the main point of contact for data conversion between the project team and customers.

What you can achieve in your first 12 – 24 months:

• Month 1 - you’ll complete the Instructor lead Workday Core HCM & Practical Certification training, and within your first 6 months, you’ll undertake further Specialist Certification training.
• Once Certified, you’ll supplement your initial product learnings through active project engagements.
• You’ll collaborate with cross functional teams, share your knowledge and coach new team members.
• Work directly with customers, functional consultants and integration consultants to establish conversion approach, complete migration of configuration and to complete the data conversion / load of customer data into Workday.
• Understand technical data conversion issues, expertly resolve issues and communicate solutions.
• Become a functional expert in one or more Workday functional areas (e.g., HRMS, Payroll, Financials).
• Assist customers with their data extract, explaining the conversion process, defining data requirements, and working with them to prepare for the data conversion cycle.
• Demonstrate strong customer focus alongside organisational and consulting skills that enable both a successful engagement and customer satisfaction.

About You: This role will require an equal mix of business-facing and technical skill sets so if you have existing or transferable experience in any of the following areas then we’d love to hear from you:

• Language Skills: business fluent English and German Required if Location is in Germany.
• 3+ years technical experience with ETL software, SQL, XML, Microsoft Excel.
• 3+ years of experience consulting for enterprise software applications with a focus on the data conversion process.
• Complete project lifecycle experience in a data conversion role.
• Experience with the complete software project lifecycle.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time (under typical circumstances).

Other Qualifications:

• Experience with PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Netsuite, Taleo, or other SaaS and On-Premise ERP systems.
• Familiarity with web services and an appetite for learning more.
• Deep technical problem solving skills, with an ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Understanding of the importance of data conversion and the time commitment involved.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and organisation skills.
• Can work in a fast paced, fast-growth, high-energy environment and take care of multiple high priority activities concurrently.
• Ability to balance multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Passion for data accuracy and completeness.
