We are seeking a relationship-driven, detail-oriented leader to head our EMEA Analyst Relations program, with a strategic focus on our HCM. Workday is seeking a strategic and highly influential Analyst Relations Director for EMEA to lead engagement with the region's most important industry analysts and advisory firms. This role will shape how the market understands Workday's innovation, differentiation, and leadership across our emerging AI platform strategy. This individual will serve as the primary interface between Workday and the EMEA analyst ecosystem, driving high-impact engagements including events, influencing key research, and ensuring consistent narrative alignment across global and regional stakeholders.
Regional AR Strategy & Execution
- Define and execute the EMEA Analyst Relations strategy, aligned to global priorities and regional business objectives.
- Act as the regional lead for analyst engagement, ensuring strong, consistent relationships with top-tier firms (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, IDC, Fosway).
- Partner with global AR leadership to ensure message consistency.
- Partner closely with EMEA Marketing, Sales, PR and Communications teams.
Analyst Engagement & Influence
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key EMEA-based analysts and influencers.
- Lead strategic briefings, inquiries, and advisory sessions with senior analysts.
- Influence analyst perception through clear, differentiated narratives across Workday's platform, AI strategy, industry capabilities and partner ecosystem.
- Ensure strong pre-briefing, fact-checking, and follow-through discipline across all engagements.
Evaluation & Benchmark Leadership
- Own EMEA coordination for major analyst evaluations, including Gartner Magic Quadrants & Critical Capabilities, Forrester Waves, IDC MarketScapes, and Fosway 9-Grid.
- Drive regional readiness, stakeholder alignment, and execution excellence.
- Translate analyst feedback into clear action plans, strategic insights and competitive positioning strategies.
Market Intelligence & Insight Synthesis
- Effective use of Spotlight Oz to deliver actionable insights from analyst interactions to regional and global leadership.
- Identify emerging market trends, competitive threats, and perception shifts.
- Partner with Product, Strategy, and Marketing to ensure insights inform roadmaps, messaging, and go-to-market strategy.
Executive & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Act as a trusted advisor to EMEA executives and product leaders.
- Prepare spokespeople for high-stakes analyst engagements and events.
- Partner closely with: Product Management & Strategy, Product Marketing, Corporate Communications, Regional Sales & Industry teams.
Event Strategy & Execution
- Lead AR strategy and event execution for major EMEA events (e.g., Workday Rising EMEA, Elevate London & industry conferences).
- Design and execute high-impact analyst experiences, including 1:1 briefings, roundtables, and advisory sessions.
- Ensure strong pre-event preparation and post-event follow-through.

Qualifications
- 8-12 years of experience in Analyst Relations, Product Marketing, Strategy, or Communications within enterprise technology.
- Strong understanding of the enterprise software landscape, particularly HCM, ERP, and/or AI-driven platforms.
- Proven experience managing relationships with top-tier analyst firms (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, IDC, Fosway).
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and senior stakeholder engagement.
- Demonstrated success influencing analyst evaluations and market perception.
- Exceptional executive communication and storytelling skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, global organization.
