The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
Our client has expanded cow numbers towards 600 and increased yields to in excess of 10000 litres. We are now looking for an experienced herdsperson to join the team and support the farmer managing all daily dairy duties and lead a small but dedicated team.
The role will include:
- Milking
- Heat detection
- Foot trimming
- AI (training can be provided)
We can offer excellent facilities in this recently built unit which provide superb working conditions, including:
- Split block calving with yields of 10000 litres
- 2 x milking on 50-point rotary parlour with feeders
- ADF, Uniform Records and Pedometers
- Auto ID with 3-way shedding
- Sand bedded cubicle housing & full TMR
If you have the desire and enthusiasm to accept a high level of responsibility and can demonstrate a high level of attention to detail during the day-to-day management of the whole herd, we can offer an exceptional package:
