Dairy Job Opportunities Ceres Rural is excited to be recruiting for various positions on behalf of one of the UK's leading dairy farm businesses.
Based in the Midlands, the farm has a fully housed, robotically milked herd and works closely with a leading veterinary school and research partners.
The farm is seeking dedicated individuals with high standards to fill a number of full-time roles and to cover maternity leave.
With a focus on high animal welfare, these roles will be in a team that enjoys a positive health and safety culture, ongoing training, flexible working arrangements, high levels of earnings and pension contributions as well as a generous holiday allowance.
Positions available include: Herdsperson - Permanent
Supporting the day-to-day needs of adult cows in a modern, robotically milked herd.
Calf & Youngstock Rearer - Permanent
Raising calves and youngstock to high welfare standards in a purpose-built system.
Machinery Operator / General Farm Worker - Permanent
Operating machinery to carry out feeding routines with a tractor driven diet feeder, cleaning and bedding livestock buildings with a telehandler, and some animal interaction.
Calf & Youngstock Rearer - Fixed Term Contract
Covering maternity leave on a fixed term contract.
