About the Role As a Class 1 Tramper, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding service to our customers across the UK.
In this position, you will: Take responsibility for collections and deliveries of all palletised goods, operating a curtain side trailer with professionalism and care.
Ensure every load is safely secured, using ratchet straps and carrying out some manual handling to maintain the highest safety standards.
Use a handheld PDA to complete all delivery documentation accurately and efficiently, keeping the process smooth and streamlined.
Maintain regular communication with our transport team, providing updates on progress to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded.
Participate in ongoing training and development, staying up to date with industry best practices and continuously enhancing your skills.
Essential Skills and Qualifications You must hold a valid UK Class 1 CE licence, enabling you to operate articulated vehicles with confidence and professionalism.
A current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) and a Digital Tachograph Driver Card are essential to ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.

You'll need to be comfortable working to tight schedules, managing your time effectively to ensure deliveries are made promptly and safely.

Competitive Salary : £18.00ph, this equates to £864 per week based on 48 hours per week.
You will receive an extra £2.75ph for any hours worked on a Saturday or Sunday and an additional £2.75ph for all hours worked between 21:00pm and 04:00am.
Shift Hours : Any 5 out of 7, start times are likely to be circa 06:00am but flexibility is required.
Overtime : Available and paid at an hourly rate.
Training : DCPC training during your employment , Monthly Courses for a variety of areas.
