We are looking for an experienced, customer-focused Installation Gas Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will carry out high quality boiler installation and occasional servicing across domestic properties, ensuring safety, compliance, and excellent customer service always.

What you'll be doing:

  • Service & Repair Delivery: Carry out annual boiler and appliance servicing to industry standards.
  • Installation of gas boilers, heating systems in both tenanted and void properties.
  • Undertake reactive emergency callouts as required.
  • Ensure all work complies with Gas Safe and relevant legislative requirements.
  • Customer Service: Communicate clearly and professionally with customers.
  • Provide advice on system functionality, maintenance, and safety.
  • Maintain a positive customer experience by being courteous, reliable, and solution-focused.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Complete all relevant paperwork, digital job sheets, and safety certificates accurately.
  • Follow company policies, health & safety procedures, and risk assessments.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and van stock to company standards.
  • Teamwork & Development: Collaborate with colleagues to support service delivery across the team.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain competency and stay up to date with industry standards.

What we're looking for (Essential):

  • Domestic Gas Safe registration (CCN1 CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1).
  • Proven experience in gas servicing, fault finding and repairs.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and technical standards.

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Unvented hot water qualification (G3).
  • LPG, Oil or Air source heat pump.
  • Experience working in social housing, local authority, or domestic service environments.
  • Plumbing NVQ Level 2.
  • Electrical competence (e.g., Part P, basic multimeter skills).
