strong animal welfare, product quality, food safety and production efficiency /strong . /p

The role
p As an Abattoir Operative, you ll be responsible for carrying out key production activities within the abattoir, ensuring lambs are handled and processed in accordance with animal welfare requirements, legislation and ABP procedures. /p
p Where required and once appropriately licensed, you ll carry out slaughter activities and help ensure carcasses are dressed and trimmed to ABP and customer specifications. /p
p Your responsibilities will include: /p

p Dressing and trimming carcasses in line with ABP and customer specifications. /p

p Working efficiently to meet daily production deadlines and targets. /p
/li
li
p Trimming carcasses to maximise production yield while maintaining quality and complying with legislation and company requirements. /p
/li
li
p Demonstrating consistently high standards of
strong animal welfare /strong . /p
/li
li
p Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and all company processes. /p
/li
li
p Ensuring equipment and machinery are operated effectively and reporting any faults to your Supervisor promptly. /p
/li
li
p Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and quality. /p
/li
li
p Carrying out all work safely and in accordance with health & safety legislation and company procedures. /p
/li
li
p Working closely with colleagues and supervisors to maintain a safe, efficient and productive working environment. /p
/li

strong Don't have previous experience? That's okay full training will be provided. /strong
