About the Role

  • As a Class 1 Driver, you will take on the fulfilling task of delivering fresh milk to the dairy, ensuring every delivery is made with care and precision.
  • Engage in a variety of driving experiences, from mostly rural routes through scenic countryside to motorway journeys.
  • Ensure timely deliveries and collections, meeting our client's requirements and maintaining high standards.
  • Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
  • Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
  • Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Experience with milk tankers would be an advantage, though full training will be provided for the right candidate.

  • Competitive Salary: £17.40 per hour on Days. £19.81 per hour on Nights. These are based on working 10 hours per shift. PLUS for all hours worked between 22:00hrs & 05:59hrs, you will receive an additional £2.25 per hour.
