About the role
As a Maintenance bricklayer, you'll deliver day-to-day repairs across our homes, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and right first time. Working in both occupied and void properties, you'll carry out a range of tasks - from brickwork and external repairs to associated trades - using your skills to identify issues and provide effective solutions. What we're looking for:
- Customer Driven: You understand the importance of working in our customers' homes, delivering a respectful, reliable service and ensuring every repair improves their comfort, safety, and overall experience.
- Accountability: You take ownership of your work - managing your time effectively, working to agreed targets, and ensuring every job is completed right first time without compromising on quality or safety.
- Develop & Learn: You're committed to maintaining and developing your skills, keeping up to date with best practice across your trade and related areas to deliver consistently high standards.
- Champion Communication: You communicate clearly and professionally with customers, colleagues, and the wider team - helping to keep jobs running smoothly and ensuring everyone is informed and aligned.
You'll bring:
- A recognised qualification in bricklaying (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) or proven hands-on experience across brickwork, blockwork, and general building repairs.
- Experience working in occupied homes or similar customer-focused environments, with a respectful and professional approach.
- Strong practical skills across a range of maintenance tasks, with the ability to diagnose issues and deliver effective, long-lasting repairs.
- A solid understanding of health and safety, ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with regulations.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across locations as required.
- A commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
