p We are hiring strong Children's Social Workers /strong for our strong Private and/or Public Law teams /strong . /p p /p p Working in the strong Private and/or Public Law teams /strong , Children's Social Workers (or as we will professionally call you - strong Family Court Advisers /strong ) are involved in a strong combination of cases /strong where either the families require the assistance to agree on the best strong arrangements for the welfare and safety of the child(ren) /strong involved or the local authority has serious concerns and requests the involvement of Cafcass in the case. /p p /p p Children's Social Workers key responsibilities include: /p p /p ul li Conducting assessments and strong directly engaging with children /strong to understand and strong represent their views and wishes to the court /strong . /li /ul ul li Using expertise in robust strong risk assessment and mediation /strong will be essential as you advocate for arrangements that strong prioritise the best interest of the children /strong . /li /ul p /p p strong Who we're looking for /strong /p p /p ul li Relevant Social Work qualification is essential /li /ul ul li You must be registered with Social Work England regulator /li /ul ul li You'll ideally have a minimum of 3 years' experience working with children and families in a social work capacity /li /ul ul li Experience in Family Court proceedings and understanding of Private and/or Public Law would be an advantage /li /ul ul li Organised and resilient with ability to work independently and managing workload effectively /li /ul p /p p strong Location /strong /p p Whilst you may see these roles have contractual base in our strong Derby /strong office, strong our teams work flexibly and remotely /strong , your proximity to the office doesn't always have to be a critical consideration.
