We're working with an innovative technology business that specialises in smart building and energy management solutions. Due to continued growth, they're looking for an experienced Trend BMS Engineer to join their team and play a key role in supporting and modernising Building Management Systems across a range of customer environments. The Role
You'll be responsible for the day-to-day support and maintenance of Trend Building Management Systems, ensuring customers' building environments continue to operate efficiently and reliably. A key part of the role will involve configuring and maintaining Trend IQ Vision, migrating legacy Trend systems into modern environments, and providing technical support to business-as-usual operations.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting and maintaining Trend Building Management Systems
- Configuring and administering Trend IQ Vision
- Migrating data from legacy Trend platforms into IQ Vision
- Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues
- Providing BAU technical support to customers
- Working closely with internal teams and customers to deliver high-quality service
- Contributing to continuous improvement of building automation solutions
What We're Looking For
- Commercial experience working with Trend Building Management Systems
- Strong knowledge of Trend IQ Vision
- Experience working with Trend SET or legacy Trend platforms
- Good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
- An understanding of HVAC systems would be highly beneficial, although an HVAC background is not essential
- Exposure to protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, Tridium or EDPAC would be advantageous
