Our growing Engineering client in the Dungannon area is seeking an ambitious Technical Sales Analyst to support the sales process from initial customer enquiry through to the preparation and submission of quotations. Working closely with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing and Procurement, you will help ensure customer requirements are understood, technically evaluated, accurately costed and translated into competitive commercial proposals. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a technical sales, engineering or estimating background who enjoys working across multiple teams and building strong customer and dealer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the preparation and submission of customer quotations.
- Review customer enquiries, specifications, drawings and tender documents.
- Work with Engineering, Manufacturing and Procurement to develop accurate costings.
- Liaise with customers, dealers and suppliers to gather technical and commercial information.
- Identify technical risks, opportunities and potential solutions.
- Prepare detailed quotations, proposals and tender responses.
- Support customer meetings, site visits and technical presentations.
- Maintain accurate quotation, sales and project documentation.
- Manage CRM opportunities and ensure the sales pipeline is kept up to date.
- Support effective forecasting and business planning.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Degree educated and/or relevant experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business or a related discipline.
- Experience or knowledge of costing, estimating or commercial analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, CRM and quotation/reporting systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, organised and a strong team player.
- Willingness to travel as required.
