HR Assistant We're working with an established and growing organisation to recruit an HR Assistant to join their busy HR team.

The role As HR Assistant, you'll provide day-to-day support across the HR function, ensuring HR processes run smoothly and delivering an excellent experience for employees and managers.

You'll support recruitment, onboarding, employee records, payroll administration, reporting and a range of HR initiatives, while working closely with the wider HR team on continuous improvement projects.

The main responsibilities Support the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to employee changes and offboarding.

Coordinate recruitment activity, including advertising vacancies, arranging interviews and completing pre-employment checks.

Prepare contracts, employment documentation and maintain accurate HR records and systems.

Support payroll administration and employee benefits, ensuring accurate and timely processing.

Act as a first point of contact for HR queries, providing a professional and responsive service to employees and managers.

Assist with employee relations administration, training coordination and HR reporting.

Support employee engagement, wellbeing initiatives and company events.

Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.

The ideal candidate Previous experience in an HR Assistant, HR Coordinator or similar HR support role.

Good knowledge of HR administration across the employee lifecycle.

Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding activities.

Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

Confident communication and relationship-building skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems.

CIPD qualification (or working towards) or a relevant third-level qualification would be advantageous.
