Responsibilities You will take ownership of all yard/store duties, driving a forklift loading & unloading all rental equipment.
Ensure the yard is kept tidy, equipment is stored securely and clean equipment before rented out again.
Answer calls and emails from customers to book out equipment, add bookings to the IT system.
Ensure all items sent to customers are added to the IT system, and on returning, all items or damage is logged on the IT system again for correct billing from head-office.
Requirements Min 1-year previous yard work experience and must have PC/IT skills, willing to learn their software package.
Ideally hold a forklift licence, but they can provide training/license.
Able to ensure a clean, tidy, safe & secure working yard at all times.
Ability to work independently.
Must be able to record all activity of goods in/out, damage, and add to an IT system in the office.
Friendly, professional, can-do attitude when dealing with customers.
Might suit someone from a Warehousing, Yardman, Builders Merchant, Tool Hire background, working in a yard or with plant/equipment.
