The Role: Our Nursery Practitioners play a critical role in the successful operation of our world-class nursery. This role will be focussed on providing the very best care for our children, ensuring their individual needs are met in a group setting.
Key Deliverables:
- Operational Excellence
- Work as part of a close-knit team in a child-centred environment where the children are cared for in a safe, loving and stimulating way
- To be familiar with, and act according to, safeguarding guidelines
- Responsible for the safety, security and well-being of all children attending the setting
- Responsible for ensuring regular communication and interaction with parents to update them on their child's progress
- Responsible for supervising children at play indoor and outdoor, and at mealtimes to ensure safety
- Provide an enhanced mealtime experience for the children, ensuring that any food that is served is being monitored and conforming to Food Safety regulations
- Take responsibility for a planned programme of activities for the children, following the EYFS framework
- To take charge of own key worker group and inform parents and other colleagues of any other relevant information
- Responsible for maintaining children's records, inclusive of observations and their next steps
- Responsible for ensuring cleanliness of room is of a high standard and toys and equipment are properly cleaned and maintained

What you'll need to succeed:
- A passion and dedication to providing world-class care to children
- To hold a full and relevant early years qualification of Level 3 or above
- It is a requirement to have at least a level 5 (Grade C) in GCSE Maths and English
- Prior experience of working with children aged 3 months to 5 years
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong desire to learn & grow within your role
