About the role: This role is to support our wonderful 17 year old male client in Market Harborough. Our client has an acquired brain injury since birth, resulting in him having complex needs. He has epilepsy and regular seizures, PEG tube, non-verbal, visual impairment and he needs support with mobility. He lives in a bungalow on his family home grounds. Our client is a happy young man who thrives off of his environment. He loves socialising and will greatly benefit from support workers who have an outgoing and bubbly personality. Previous care experience is essential and previous experience with epilepsy is desirable. You must hold a full UK drivers licence to be able to drive his vehicle.

When you will be working:

  • Full time available - 36-40 hours a week
  • Mix of day (8am-8pm), evening (4pm-8pm) and occasional sleeping nights (8pm-8am) shifts
  • Flexibility to work variety of shifts, and weekdays and weekends, required

In this role, you'll support one individual with complex needs, working regular weekly shifts to build a consistent, trusted care team. While hours are usually stable, the position is offered on a zero-hours contract.

Pay rate:

  • Monday - Friday day shifts = £16.00 per hour
  • Monday - Friday sleep nights= £12.71 per hour
  • Weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) = £17.00 per hour
