The As & When Early Years Worker will provide support to the team at Wetherell Nursery, covering periods of sickness, annual leave and times when additional staffing is required. The successful candidate may be required to work independently or alongside staff, volunteers and students to support the delivery of high-quality early years provision for children aged 3 months to 5 years. This post is offered on a zero-hours, As & When basis, with a salary of £14.80 per hour (£28,476 FTE). Please note that there is no guarantee of regular hours.

Annual Leave entitlement for full-time colleagues is 26 days per annum, increasing to 27 days per annum, after 3 years Barnardo's service, 29 days per annum, after 5 years Barnardo's service and 30 days per annum, after 7 years Barnardo's service. Those working less than full time are entitled to the same level of holiday pro rata.
