About the Role As a Class 1 Driver, you'll play a key role in the smooth, efficient movement of palletised freight across our network.

Your responsibilities will include: Operating a curtain side trailer to trunk palletised goods from our Shepton Mallet depot to pallet network hubs in the West Midlands, before reloading back to Shepton Mallet.

Providing internal trunking support where required, including accurately verifying freight against the manifest at each depot stop.

Taking advantage of opportunities to gain additional certifications, including LST (Longer Semi-Trailer) and ADR during your employment.

Ensuring all goods are safely loaded, secured, and protected, using straps, nets, and other appropriate securing equipment.

Completing daily vehicle safety checks.

Maintaining regular communication with the Transport Team.

Attending ongoing training and development sessions to stay up to date with industry standards and best practice.
