About the Role As a Class 1 Driver, you will: Retrieve empty trailers from the trailer park and position them as required.
Transport loaded and empty tanks between the trailer park and production areas to support operational flow.
Relocate loaded trailers from the loading bay to the designated trailer park area.
Assist with general yard duties as needed to maintain site efficiency and safety.
Conduct thorough daily vehicle safety inspections using the company-issued mobile device to ensure optimal vehicle performance and compliance.
Maintain constant communication with the transport team, providing updates on your progress and ensuring customer expectations are consistently met.
Attend regular training sessions to stay up to date with the latest industry standards and best practices, continuously enhancing your skills and expertise.
Essential Skills and Qualifications Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
Ability to work to deadlines.
Confident, polite, and a team player.
Good geographical knowledge.
