This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business.
Location: Belfast
Salary: £13.86 PH
Shifts: Monday to Friday 6.00pm to 2.30am, 39 hrs per week
Job purpose:
- To drive the daily performance of operatives, to achieve budgeted productivity and quality targets within a warehouse operation in line with departmental KPIs.
- To implement the daily staffing plan, ensuring optimum operational output at all times, escalating any areas of concern immediately to the Line Manager.
- As directed by the Management Team, deliver training on operational procedures and processes in accordance with company strategy including but not exclusively Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and Standard Operating Practice (SOP's) with particular focus on housekeeping.
- In conjunction with and supported by the Management Team, actively endorse, promote and manage our IIP culture and status through team briefing, training and if applicable 121's and return to works for first and second occasions of absence.
- Support the Outbound Manager in achieving departmental and company objectives.
- Carry out any reasonable request as determined by the Service Centre Management Team promoting and supporting company initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience in warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, logistics or a related field.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is essential for tracking inventory, managing orders, and optimising warehouse operation.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and quality standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced working environment.
- Outstanding organisation, an eye for detail, and high level of accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively across multiple functional departments.
- Excellent Customer Care.
