PGR Chartered Accountants is a digital accountancy practice in Northern Ireland. Based in Belfast and Ballymena, we are cloud accountants and trusted business advisors.

The post holder's duties will include:

  • Preparation & review of personal tax returns and assisting Tax Partner with the delivery of the personal tax work plan
  • Preparation and review of corporation tax returns
  • Assisting with Making Tax Digital delivery using digital software
  • Reviewing delivery of payroll services to a portfolio of clients ensuring all submissions are made on time
  • Ensuring compliance and assisting / training junior staff
  • Assisting the Tax Partner with ad-hoc advisory & tax planning assignments

Requirements:

  • Candidates should be a qualified tax technician or working towards completing CTA exams
  • A minimum of 3 years experience working in a tax department within a practice environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Enthusiastic, pro-active and a team player
